Hello! We have a new Grizzl-e 40a regular (not smart) charger that works fine for charging out 2021 rav 4 hybrid, but is not working on the 2013 Model S we are currently borrowing.

The Model S charges fine on a 120v outlet using the same adapter, and charges fine at my office with a juice box.

When we plug the grizzl-e in the light stays blue and says check charger power.

Grizzle says it’s Tesla’s problem and Tesla says it’s Grizzl-e’s, so hoping we can figure it out on our own!

Thank you!

Thanks for all the help / suggestions on this mystery!

Update: Grizzl-e sent us a replacement, which is now working.

We have it hardwired in, and when electrician came back to reinstall the new one, he said he changed the terminals. No idea if that was causing the issue before (since the old one was charging other cars just fine) … but here’s hoping that the new one keeps working!
