Idk if something is wrong with the media and all the sheep who listen to the narratives they create. But it legitimately feels like people are 50/50 about defending/opposing Draymond Green’s crazy antics. He has a track record of playing dirty like this for years. The pictures taken of him last night literally show him with malice in his eyes as he’s choking Rudy. Yet I’m finding people saying, “Well Rudy was doing the same thing to Klay before Draymond stepped in.” Watch the damn clip of what happens and try justifying Draymond’s actions. Holy s****. I swear, it’s the same people who said, “Sabonis grabbed Draymond’s leg” in the playoffs last year. “He had to put his foot down somewhere.” That gives him the right to step on Sabonis and cause him actual harm?
I understand venting doesn’t solve anything that’s actually going on. But GOOD LORD. The people who are actually trying to justify Draymond are going to give me an aneurysm.
Warriors fan here. I also watch and root for the Wolves. I may get downvote for this but what I see is Klay is at fault first for Grabbing Slim jersey unnecessarily rough. Slim shouldn’t retaliate but ripping Klays jersey. Gobert should not had held Klay by the neck even if it was to de-escalate the tension. In Draymond defense, when you see your teammates being held by the neck like that the very first instinct is to help your friend. However, what Draymond did was excessive and Im sure there were other motives behind it.
Draymond deserves to be suspended at least 5-10 games. I cannot wait for the Warriors to trade him or when he retires. A lot of Warriors fans are tired of this guy, even though he helped win the chips…
