I know Tyler was a 1000 yard rusher last year but dude has not been good at all this year. Barely 3 yards avg per rush is killing our run game, and he has so many negative runs that absolutely kill drives.
CP84 is a better short-yardage back anyway. He’s taller, trucks harder, and has less negative plays. I don’t get why he’s barely being used because he’s shown he can still run and break huge gains.
I know its been complained about over and over but Bijan and CP84 both have over 4.5 rush yards/avg. We have a good run game if we stop using Allgeier so much.
Not going to say anything anybody’s already said but I will say this. Running backs like TA need rhythm and there has been nothing consistent about this offense for him to get into a rhythm. Then add there’s a RB ahead of him on the depth chart so he’s getting even less carries. I don’t think this is on Tyler whatsoever. And CP84 is a locker room guy at this point. We’re just paying him to be vibes.
