I am looking to get my husband a nice gift. He doesn’t own any luxury watches, but has mentioned liking this one before. I know nothing about watches so … do you think this Tissot would make a good gift? Otherwise, would you be able to recommend some nice ones under $500?

    It is a well known Swiss brand and will be a great gift IF it suits your husband.

    Just keep in mind that the pictures don’t tell the truth and all the watches look very different in real life. Especially this flat website picture, it doesn’t show realistic depth, glares and so on.

    So if you haven’t seen it in person, you should really go to the store and try it on.

    Is he into watches? Like does he own some pricey models in this range? My thought behind this is the following:

    Once you leave the quartz-game and go team automatic, you never want to go back. This is the quartz model. If my girl would offer to buy me a PRX, I would decline the quartz one. Not just because of the movement but also because of the watch face. There’s a huge difference.

    If the automatic model is NO option, you should go for the the Citizen Tsuyosa. An insane watch for an insane price.

    I love this watch. I have the automatic version. But they all look great. They wear well and are remarkably well finished for how inexpensive they are in relativity to other watches of its caliber
