Thinking about going from Rog Ally to Steam Deck OLED. I actually went from the LCD to Ally, because of the increase in performance and VRR. I even got an XG MOBILE 3080, because I wanted it to be like the switch pro I always dreamed of. But windows is so jank, the XG Mobile would sometimes disconnect randomly even after all driver updates, and I just never found the Ally very comfortable. I also found the handheld performance mediocre because some games are more optimized for the SD, either by the developers or proton. So I would have barely any battery life when I was disconnected from the wall. My SD card was not working. I have a PS5 so games like GOW and Spiderman 2, I just use chiaki. Also, emulation was WAY BETTER on the steam deck. What do you guys think? Sell the Ally and go to the OLED?
