I have to go to a concert with my wife this evening that was booked long before the schedule came out and a Thursday night event seemed risk-free. How naive I was! How carefree!

Here’s my question: would it be a faux pas to ask the performers to announce score changes during the program? Perhaps just updates at the mid-point of each quarter? Really great plays?

For example “oh man, freakin’ Micah Hyde just leveled Baker Mayfield when Baker tried to run for a first down! Bills still up 17-3 with 10:17 left in the third quarter! This next song is one we wrote together in a forest grove. It’s about love. It’s about tenderness…the Bucs are punting…it’s about how two people can be as one…fair catch, Bills’ ball, first and ten, on their own 32. We’d like to play it for you now.”
