I noticed looking at the game flow, that there were four stints during the game where Djeng was the lone big on the court for OKC. Quite interesting. Overall, those minutes were net positive. It’s good to see; and may be something to see more of in the future. He IS 6’11" from what I understand.

I feel like Djeng was Presti’s next swing at a hot shooting 7 foot wing with athleticism, that can play all three frontcourt positions. The first being Poku, who was not extended.

What makes Dieng special is 6’11 at 3, not under size at 5. I hope they will let him play in his natural position asap.

IMO Ous has been looking his best and most efficient at the 3 and sometimes 4 in SL and preseason. He definitely has the size to play some time at the 5, but looks most assertive playing 3/4. His shooting is good and his perimeter defense is one of his best skills. He’s also not much of a rim protector or shot blocker (yet, and maybe not ever) so that’s mainly why I think he lands long term outside of the paint.

    Just my 2 cents.

Every time I see ous do good i think about how Stephan A and Spike Lee trashed him on draft night.

I don’t hate it! I think Ous is a natural PF anyway.

I wish I could have seen it. I work nights, and was at work. I would love to see how Ous could handle himself against a bull like Joel Embiid. However, how many bigs really punish smaller defenders in the paint anymore? There are no more Shaqs. Joel shoots threes mostly and faces up.
