This team obviously needs one or two pieces to put it over the hump. But why do I get the distinct sense that Brad Holmes is going to Passover anything when it comes to trades this season before the desert.

I just got this gut feeling that they’re not going to make any move. They value draft picks more than they do actual veteran players that are capable of helping right now that much is extremely clear I think if there’s anything that cost any bit of draft capital Brad doesn’t really answer the phone on that.

I would love to be 100% wrong on this but at the end of the day I just can’t see it happening.

There was talk about Jonathan Allen and Kendall Fuller. That has lost all sorts of steam in the last 24 hours. I don’t even know what to think something needs to happen we’re definitely not deep enough at cornerback.

Holmes philosophy is to build a program that will contend not only for a year or two, but into the future. I doubt he will mortgage future draft capitol for a rental player that will either cost too much to keep, or leave after the season.

This is it, he’s more concerned with winning the north for a decade than a Superbowl run.

Just simmer down and let Brad cook, this is an 18 hour smoke my friends.
