He’s not wrong but these are interesting statements from someone who has aggressively and somewhat homophobically affirmed his heterosexuality in the past. Wouldn’t say it’s anything close to a coming out though with he saying “this shit didn’t even happen” aka denying the events that took place—although his own sworn testimony seems to say otherwise.
His sexual orientation is indeed…well, not entirely irrelevant because he’s Dwight Howard and he being bi/gay would be a pretty big deal because of his stature. If it was irrelevant than people wouldn’t be speculating on it.
It’s the sexual assault allegations…numerous, that matter and need to be the focus. The focus is on his purported homosexuality and not the fact he’s alleged to have assaulted multiple individuals.
