I recently had my rear rotors and pads changed after significant wear in a short amount of time. My mechanic informed me that it was due to faulty callipers. A few days before the replacement I noticed that my mileage was dropping faster than usual, and since the change it has only gotten worse. When finding out that the breaks were sticking I figured that the issue with fuel was related to that, but after the switch it seems to only have gotten worse. It seems to be fine on the highway, sometimes I even gain mileage. It is noticeably bad after having to break or come to a complete stop. I’ve already replaced the air filter as I thought it might be that, but no change. Any suggestions on what might be causing the issue?
