Because of past injuries last season, Rondale Moore, Marquise Brown and Kyler only shared the field for 3 games last season. . Coincidentally Moore and Brown each separately had 7 games total playing with kyler murray.
Yellow is games that Kyler+Moore+Brown played together. Bold Italic means that the other WR was missing. Below is Marquise Brown last year 7 game total with kyler 49/531/3
Rondale Moore in 7 games with Kyler was 41/414 and 1 TD
Rondale Moores numbers arent THAT far off… and also NUK was still around in 2022… This year, rondale moore’s snapshare has been considerably lower (65%ish) despite no NUK. Now that Kyler is back, do you guys think Rondale Moore actually is a better play then the Michael Wilson who is rostered alot more? Can Rondale moore actually be a good value play ROS now that Kyler is back?
You’re forgetting a detail in your analysis. Last year Deandre Hopkins was suspended the first 6 games of the season. As result, Moore had significant usage in the first 6 games of the season, lining up aside Brown and it was the key way for him to get on the field.
I think its too early to speculate on this offense. While Brown is probably their star WR, he’s on the last year of his contract. Wilson profiles better with the size and speed combo over both Moore and Brown and he was drafted by the current regime. I don’t have any answers but Wilson has the edge in snaps and I think the team and the twitter analysts have been impressed with his off the ball play. I think we need at least another game with Kyler shaking off some rust before we start assuming the WR to own.
