Especially right now when there are 4 people in my ward snoring in the middle of the night and I just had surgery and can’t sleep.

Brooooooooo I was in your position 3.5 months ago. I had a switch instead and it helped me so much not think about the pain especially after surgery. The external fixator wasn’t bad but the surgery and pain following was immense. Nerve block helped so much.

I have been walking for two weeks now and am almost back to normal and doing PT. It sucked but TOTK and subnautica helped me through the days. Hope you feel better OP. It gets better as I’m sure you’re reading.

If you have a headset, listen to white noise/brown noise (Fan noise on youtube and things of that sort). Having that as a background noise remove all other noises if your headset is good. I usually do what when playing games away from home. I still listen to the game sound but in the background i use white noise.

Wishing you prompt recovery and hang in there brotha!
