Love OG.

Love him as a Raptor.

WANT him to stay a Raptor.

BUT -

What’s really in it for him staying? Does anyone have a legitimate reason for staying with the Toronto Raptors at this point?

I’m getting flash backs to going in on Jakob and that not exactly working out for us so great thus far lol Going in on OG might stop the bleeding but we are limping over the finish line by the time the season is over.

Dude is going to lock in to some serious 3/D for us but with how this team is playing, I don’t think that energy or effort will put us over the hump… MIGHT get us close… but won’t put us in any contending fashion…

So why stay?

If they want to be competitive in the next 5 years, OG is a piece you have to keep. If they let OG walk, I think Masai and Bobby would lose their jobs.

He can get a max with Philly. Play with Embiid and Maxey.

Max with Spurs. Play with Wemby. Better weather and no taxes

We can pay him a lot but there’s a lot better situations for him to compete and get paid. Masai fucked this up

Think about it if you were him

He’s OG, not a bonafide stud ring chasing

He’s been here forever, comfortable with the city, has friends here

    Gets paid the most here

And most likely will get what he’s been asking for, which is a bigger role
