so I got my chromebook around 6 months ago, for around $200. I use it fairly regularly and have never had problems. I used my chromebook only two days ago, I brought it babysitting, and brought it back home and didn’t open it til just now.

one corner of the screen is completely wrecked, and the rest of the screen is glitching and flickering and the colours are messed up. I’m guessing it got jostled around on the way home the other day- although I’m not sure how it got so messed up because it was closed the whole time, there’s no outside damage, and I can’t think of how it would’ve gotten jostled around so much it got so wrecked.

anyways, the screen itself is fine, I believe it’s just the LCD that’s broken. (me acting like I know anything about this- I’ve been frantically googling for the past few minutes) however I myself have no experience fixing technology at all. I’m not sure what to do, because I kind of need it for school, and I also don’t have a huge amount of money I can just spend on getting a new one or getting it fixed. I’m just wondering what I should do- what the most cost effective option would be, and if it would be worth it to get a different better laptop.

(I apologize for the length and if I made any mistakes, I’ve never posted on Reddit before)
