You know it’s sad that Blizzard tries to design heroes that are meant to be somewhat fun and somehow in the development process they forget that Ana exists and she invalidates all that hard work in the press of a single button. I laughed very loudly watching a Mauga try to mitigate damage and be a proper tank until a nade came his way and he was deleted out of existence. I also watched a roadhog try to vape for his survival while he was purple and he died hilariously.
As long as Ana is as powerful as she is we will continuously keep flaming Blizzard for designing tanks that can’t compete with her. What does Blizzard do in response to this? They buff the tanks that are “weak” instead of addressing the biggest core problem of the game.
Ana nade was developed for 6v6 and in 5v5 it still has the same effect as it did back then. WHY??? BACK THEN THERE WERE 2 TANKS TO MITIGATE DAMAGE. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT INSANE MINDS THINKS A SINGLE TANK CAN WITHSTAND THE WHOLE INCOMING DAMAGE OF A TEAM WHILE RECEIVING 0 HEALS?!!
IT REALLY DOESNT FUCKING HELP THEY DESIGN THESE TANKS WITH THE HITBOX OF A FRICKING BUILDING. They need to nerf the anti healing effect! Not the nade!! Not the weapon!!! Not the sleep!!! THE STATUS EFFECT!!! Halve the healing? Reduce the applied duration?? Idk just figure it out. They are hampering they’re creativity by allowing this hero to exist as it is. If they buff Mauga and Roadhog instead of nerfing Ana I will legitimately delete this game.

If the other team has an Ana, you just gotta have a bap or kiriko, or else your team is dying. I don’t have a problem with that, it’s just frustrating that you only have those two ways of countering her nade. Unless I’m forgetting something. Maybe if there was one more ability in the game to counter it, people wouldn’t hate it so much. Something for the dps or tanks.
