Austin Reaves got 33 minutes today. You have to be out of your fucking mind if you think Reaves deserves more playing time than Rui. Rui has an impact on the floor on both ends. Especially on offense. Reaves so far has been extremely disappointing. He can’t defense, he is a terrible ball handler and often creates bad turnovers, and his physical abilities are as limited as they get. If he was a knockdown three pt shooter like Huerter you can give him a pass but he is not. Yet somehow he is seeing a lot of playing time with this team. It’s really disappointing what is happening with Rui when he is nothing but a positive.
He shouldn’t be coming off the bench with Wood. They play so awkward together, and Hachi doesn’t seem to be keen sharing the second unit with him. There were some questionable decisions.

We had the same issue in DC. His time away for personal reasons resulted in a diminished role for us. It’s extremely frustrating to see because Rui has such a pure shot. I think coaches problem with Rui lies on the defensive side. He apparently doesn’t play good team defense. Bullshit if you ask me. How many guys in the league get a green light with huge minutes yet play zero defense. Funny how some players are held to a standard and others aren’t. WTF is with that.
This sub is ridiculous he can’t guard the kings , they’re too fast n perimeter based n Rui struggles there. I didn’t like paying him so much in summer because I knew this would happen.
