both are DDR4 3200mhz

Note: Don’t tell me to pair it with another 8gb, I already bought the 16gb at a discounted rate and it isn’t refundable.

Please provide valid and to the point answers only! I hear mixed opinions on this, but I want to know if my rig will see significant performance differences compared to just having the 8gb in there alone, and if it is better / worse than 8gb+8gb performance or not!
