I feel like if we said before this season what was your opinion most people would say he is a great defensive head coach, and right now I feel like everyone’s opinion has changed just because we are 5-5 with tons of injuries.
But in your opinion how is McDermott as a coach actually?
Personally, I think he is a good coach, I just do not think you can win a superbowl with him. You can win a superbowl with him as your Co-ordinator but when it came down to him to get one stop 13 seconds happened.
Hes a great coach who has a solid floor, but just a normal ceiling. HCs are leaders and motivators, so all regimes can lose their punch over time. Thats lowered his floor and ceiling a bit.
Will forever be grateful. But am ready to move on. For better or worse.
