Stats don’t lie. Mann and Westbrook elevate the team with their hustle. The offense flows and defense remains intact.
Everything has gone to crap when putting back James Harden. Even Kawhi net rating is bad. PG is barely positive.
All I know is that the off-ball movements of Mann/Westbrook when they set picks, cut, rebound and etc. are huge on offense and defense. They do the little things that PG/Kawhi/Harden don’t do since they are the focal point of offense.
Lue should just stick with Mann/Westbrook lineups in 4th quarter.
Mann and Westbrook were cooking, they have chemistry. Mann always finds Russ cutting to the basket plus their hustle gives the team energy. If PG and Kawhi iso to death in crunch time and Ty wont make a play for Harden, its better to have 2 guys that brings energy defensively
Always rated him but Russ became my fave player on the team last playoffs. I legit don’t understand why the harden trade happened. He’s cooked beyond words.
Maybe jersey/ticket sales? Can’t think of any basketball reasons.
Not to mention that he’s a chemistry killer
