    Fully deserved, an all time performance in the WC where he dragged Argentina from the group stage to lift the cup. Also 20+ goals and 20+ assists in club level is also overlooked, he was very essential especially in the first half of the season

    Meh I would have still given it to Haaland and I’m a Liverpool fan. He had a far better season than Messi even WITH Messi winning the World Cup. Statistically haaland was on another level.

    Yes fully deserved! i enjoyed watching all the tears from the haters lol (who are suddenly haaland fans this yr for some reason).

    also im curious, if mbappe won the WC, i wonder who will win the ballon d’or. I will still give it to mbappe due to that ridiculous final performance, but idk.
