Three receivers having 1,000 yards seasons on the same team has only been done five times. The last time it has been done was in 2008 surprisingly by the Cardinals with Fitzgerald, Bolden, and Steve Breaston?!?
According to their ESPN player profiles, these are their current and projected stats.
JJ has 36 catches and 571 yards. That projects to 61 catches and 971 yards. Missing games throws off this projection. If you look at his per game averages, he would easily go over 1,000 yards if he plays the rest of the season maintaining that pace.
Hock has 71 catches and 681 yards, which projects to 121 and 1,158. He seems like the most sure bet to reach it.
Addison has 45 catches for 603 yards. That projects to 77 catches and 1,025 yards.
Of course most of this production has come while Kirk was playing at MVP level. But the past two game has shown that KOC has a good passing system in place, and Dobbs has shown an unbelievable ability to pick it up.
It might be a long shot, but it would be a cool thing to see.
With a 17 game schedule it’s only like 59 yards a game. Not that impressive of accomplishment when you do the math.
It meant something way back when they played 14 regular season games.
