Austin Reaves was trying to attack the basket last game but his athletic decencies just hinder him so much that it does not work out for him on a consistent basis. Dlo is the same way, he can’t blow by anyone off of the dribble and make the defense shift either. The team needs some athleticism badly. I recommend a Colin Sexton trade for Gabe and maybe Prince. Dude has his problems but he can get downhill and shift a defense. If not him the team needs to target another athletic guard.
When you play against a dynamic guard you see how much this team lacks it. Guys like that making plays completely break down a defensive system getting open looks for everyone when they are not scoring themselves.
Our guards can’t attack the basket, can’t feed or superstars on regular basis and can’t guard anyone … it is a huge problem.
Well that & it’s a terrible scheme that puts players in positions of weakness in their game instead of strengths…
