Had the front tires replaced a couple weeks ago, and everything seemed fine for a week or so. But then I started noticing vibrations. Took it back to the tire shop and they said the new tires are 10/32 and the old rear tires are 4/32, which is more than the differential will be able to handle, and that’s probably what’s causing the vibrations. I asked them to start by balancing the wheels, but it’s still doing it, and I plan to have the other tires replaced today or tomorrow.

My question is whether this is the sort of thing that would quickly damage the drive train or differential. It’s only been a few weeks, and I’ll I’ve done is run some errands around town. Should I worry?
