Japan and Korea like to schedule the same teams for friendlies to save money and let the visiting teams make the most of flying to east Asia. They’ve been doing it for ages.
Adding to that, heard a podcast where former players were saying that the visiting teams usually land 2-3 days before the match. If they’re coming from a different time zone like Tunisia is, they’re still jetlagged by the time the match is being played.
That’s why the visiting team usually plays better in the 2nd leg. In this case Tunisia lost 4-0 to Korea and now “only” loses 2-0 to Japan as their bodies have acclimated better to the time change.
