Does this allow us to manage group messaging between android and apple or will we still have to use whatsapp, discord, GroupMe, etc

I can’t wait for my partner to be able to receive video that doesn’t look like a potato shot it. She’s been missing videos from her family because the quality is unusable. This will do a lot of good.

The feature will launch via a software update “later next year” and bring a wide range of iMessage-style features to messaging between iPhone and Android users.
