Overwatch 2 feedback (PC)

Heroes:

Echo – I feel her ultimate is a bit weak and maybe speeding up how fast she gains the duplicate’s ultimate a bit could work here.

Hanzo – Right off the bat, get rid of his one-shot kills. The fact that he must give up so little vs what Widow must give up to one-shot a player isn’t balanced, imo. Widow not only has to give up a big portion of her field of vision, press 2 buttons, slowed movement, but also must wait for her charge to reach 100 after a second for her to one-shot a player. Granted she has hitscan and good zoom. What does Hanzo have to give up to one-shot a player? Compared to Widow, a lot less.

Possible solution could be making his headshot damage be more like Kiriko’s headshot damage when she first was released. This still rewards players who are good at Hanzo while not dealing so much incidental power to enemies.

Mercy (sorry Mercy fans) – Get rid of her resurrection in any form. This ability in any way throughout her history has always felt imbalanced. I understand the flavor win this ability gives her, but her resurrection just creates a feels-bad moment every time, imo. Mercy using a non-ultimate ability to completely undo all the damage/cc/ult usage to kill her teammate, for some reason just doesn’t feel balanced.

Possible solution came to me when I was playing World of Warcraft and saw the Evoker ability “Rescue”. Would be cool to give Mercy this ability instead of resurrect, which would make her more mobile and still retain her angelic theme.

Orisa – This hero just feels unnecessarily unkillable too much of the time during battles. Gotta tone back Fortify in some way.

Sombra – Love her rework but a couple of things I’d change with her. Using her melee, shoot, and ultimate has a bit if a delay coming out of stealth and the user must press those abilities again once out of stealth. Not sure if this was intended but makes her game flow feel very clunky. I’d like to make those abilities break her stealth more smoothly like how hack does. If that delay was to prevent cheap up-close kills, then that would just defeat the whole “detected” range she already has in place for that.

Her ultimate also seems underwhelming. A possible solution would be to up her time to build her ultimate by 10 seconds and add virus to everyone hit by EMP.

Roadhog – Fun re-work but maybe give him back his 50 damage reduction for using his Take a Breather ability to make him more survivable and feel like a tank.

These are just some things I’ve noticed all this year playing Overwatch 2. I’m probably wrong on a lot (if not all) of these things but this is just my feedback and opinions. Would love to hear your thoughts though! Thanks.
