Obviously references to other comics are gonna be right out, so no Savage Dragon, Wolf Corps, Brit, etc. But what else do you think doesn’t make the cut, either because it hasn’t aged well or just no space for it?

Personally I can’t see them doing the Amber abuse plot. I don’t think audiences will want to see it and once she’s written off it’s easier to just keep her written off.

Likewise, I wonder how they will handle Eve’s weight gain. They wait it was done in the comics felt very fat-phobic and its one of the things that’s really aged poorly.

Finally, and this one might be controversial, I can see Invincible Inc getting axed. I works in the comics, where you cam get away with a bit more storyline whiplash, but I wonder if the tonal shift us going to feel too abrupt for normal viewers.

Thoughts? What do you think gets left behind and why?

    >fat-phobic

The mindset that health is somehow bigotry is EXACTLY the reason we need more shows dealing with losing weight.

Overweight people should not be deluded into believing they are healthy at any size. When I was fat I needed a wakeup call to tell me that I needed to change, and I am glad that I did. I completely forgot what it was like to be able to walk to the grocery store without keeling over in exhaustion just outside of my driveway.
