When was the last time a 3rd seed from NA or EU did anything impressive? Meanwhile LCK and LPL 4th seeds are making it all the way to the finals.

in the case T1 stomps WBG it will validate those who said WBG just got very lucky draws only having to face a single eastern team in the semifinals then it would be obvious there’s a big flaw in the format just by treating eastern and western teams the same in swiss/quarters. Almost like maybe the whole tourney should just be 5 seeds from china and 5 seeds from Korea :p. That would be extreme for sure, but we could remove western 3rd seeds who don’t do much anyways and give them 5th seeds.
