Let’s say Moira healing will then apply a 10% damage reduction for 10seconds ONLY if the target(s) has been healed by Moira continuously for 3seconds.
Why 3 seconds? That means not only a well placed orb/laser will proc it… but the HoT from one single splash of LMB will also.
Please remember the dmg reduction passive cannot be applied immediately due to the 3 seconds requirement, and that is intentional. The nature of it is definitely not avoiding immediate danger like Nano/breather, but it is more likely to plan ahead for her teammates and buy time for herself to deal damage.
Goals:
- Moira’s dps time could be appreciated by her teammates.
- Grands Moira incentives to heal after DPS.
- While a point-blank splash is the most efficient way to grant teammates the dmg reduction, a flanking Moira can still potentially do it by a well placed orb/laser from way behind.
- Comp choices and matchups are a thing for Moira now.
She has a great rhythm with dive comp(Doom go in everytime with the buff), but a stacked brawl comp can be buffed easier(Lucio/Bastion/Reinhardt chasing the healing orb together for a longer buff duration due to constant refreshing)
It sounds fun to me on paper. What do you think?
