I’ve been loyal for 30 something years. I ask for nothing but a chip in my lifetime

I’ve said this before but it’s about the memories and experiences I have with friends, family and people you meet that are also fans. It’s the highs and lows. The experiences of the nights you get to go to games or watch with friends. The first time your kid/cousin and for me my nephew get excited about the game. The fact that we get upset at other grown men playing a game that we aren’t apart of and should be able to laugh about it. It’s ruined days, sleepless nights, euphoria from finally getting back to the playoffs. I’m not in a direct relationship with the Knicks or the players. That’s why it’s easy to stand back and critique them. I don’t owe them anything and they don’t owe me anything. (Obviously lines are crossed with social media or screaming obscenities at the players and families at the games)
