IMO its Draymond Green by a landslide. Lot of NBA Fans are casuals, so they see him put up Triple Single stat line, shoots like he has a backpack on, so its easy to make fun of him and dismiss his value. He got suspended and cost his team in the Finals, stomps people, punches his own teammate, “calls KD in the parking lot after losing in the Finals”

BUT NBA purist know he’s a TOP 5 defender of all time. Team leader on defense when it comes to communication, best help defender, can guard perimeter, undersize but still bodies Centers in the paint (check 2022 playoffs vs Jokic, when he held his own and picked his pocket in the post in crunch time)

He is the best villain because he does enough to get you to hate him and despite his glaring flaws (on and off the court), he still comes out on top with the BIGGEST FLEX of them ALL ( 4 NBA CHAMPIONSHIPS ) FUTURE HOFer, DPOY

I’d put Dillon Brooks in 2nd place for current villains, but he needs to actually win more for people to respect him as a legit “villain”

Even if we’re talking about basketball the best heel is still Christian Cage. Just don’t let him find out about your dad.

    If you know you know

Kyrie. He infiltrates teams then destroys them from within.

Dillon was only a villain because he played in Memphis. Nobody spoke his name before the Warriors series and ESPN went on a Memphis Pistons kick.

Dilly in Houston is a musketeer

Not sure if he’s top 5 all time, but people highly undervalue his defense. Go watch Thinking Basketball’s analysis on him and you’ll realize how valuable he’s been to the Warriors dynasty. I’d even go as far to say that Steph and Dray were more likely to win than KD and Steph, and I’m pretty sure the numbers back that.
