My 30M partner has a tendency to take the stance that he doesn’t like reading. He is neurodiverse, struggled in school growing up, and it seems like his distaste for school been applied to the entirety of written literature. I grew up very differently. Child of a librarian, always with my nose in a book, and have a hard time imagining that you can just hate reading. I know there’s a lot of factors that can go into whether a book is a good fit for someone, but where do you even start in making some recommendations (short/easy reads, popular titles, niche interests, classics, etc.)?
