Are there stats or proof that show players go off when playing against their former teams? Any examples come to mind?

    Only if said player has a motive for it

    being a player on a former team doesn’t justify it enough. For example, Panthers didn’t really wanna trade DJ moore so I don’t know why it would be a revenge game (last week)

    If Fields was traded during the off-season and they drafted Caleb Williams, then he would have a motive

    I’m disappointed they didn’t schedule Lions / Eagles. Would love to see Swift carve that team up.

    I mean, in a world where you have practiced against the other side, I can see how you might recognize what they are doing and have an edge. But the answer is no.
