People knocking the bench in this thread. The bench was quite good for the first 40 mins of the game tbh. Goodwin, Allen, Eubanks were solid.
The issue was in the 4th quarter, the Lakers sold out hard to double cover KD and the Suns literally could not run an offensive play for 6 minutes because they lacked another competent playmaker. Guys were either trying to force the ball to KD in double coverage, or KD would get double covered and fumble the ball. There were also some very sloppy passes in there too.
All that said, you can’t realistically expect any mid tier bench group to step up into that responsibility esp vs a good team. If either of Booker or Beal were there to act as a release valve for KD, I think the Suns win by 15 lol
