Hey All! My wife is trying with only some success to get her name out there for her Salon suite. We’ve created all social media account, Groupon and even putting fliers on random cars. Does anyone have any advice for getting her clients? I’ve considered doing Instagram/Facebook promotion ads for her pages but am not sure if it is worth it has anyone had any luck with something like this?

Google Business Page helps a lot with local SEO, also as what others said, Facebook ads is a pretty great place to start, you can target whoever you want, age, gender, location, set your budget limit, turn on and off ads when its peak time and off peak.

Let me know if you need help, I’m just a dm away! Cheers

Sharing my thoughts as an ecommerce optimization guy. Double down your efforts on social media, mostly Instagram, TikTok and Facebook (wherever the people within your area hangs out more).

Instead of simply advertising on social media, create an “environment” for your future clients. Grab their attention through things that just make them go “wow!”.

Then setup some paid ad sets:

1st - To introduce your wife’s salon to your area, often paired with a first time discount.

2nd - Showcase the “before” & “after” of some clients as ads, with a caption similar to “book your appointment now and transform your looks and life ;)”, can be paired with another discount. Still advertise within your own area only to save $$.

3rd - retarget your area with a few more ad sets that grab their attention.

If possible, get some social media influencers to come give your wife’s salon a try and post it on social media (influencer marketing) - targeting your area.

Hope these helps and happy to offer further help if needed.
