Title says it all. Look we all had high expectations for the team coming into this year off last years run. Understandable considering what they achieved just 6 months ago.

I think it’s time though to understand that this team, no matter the reason (be real none of us can actually influence what the lakers do any so no point in coming up with imagined “fixes”) is simply NOT good.

They are 6-6 through 12 games, a step up from last season yes but nothing to write home about. Other contenders (don’t include Phx, Kd super teams post his GS run have been garbage) haven’t seemed as vulnerable. The Celtics, 6ers, nuggets, etc. all have solid records in the early going.

Real contenders have it from the jump. Sure the lakers will make the playoffs and maybe win a series but I think we all know this season is ending in 5 games in round 2.
