Some people are saying I shouldn’t buy a Slim External BD Burner if I want to burn good quality discs, because they are crap and the discs will die sooner. Is that true?

Is it a better option to buy an internal drive and use some kind of sata to usb external adapter?

I’d prefer the SLIM USB one, but if the burn quality is really worse, I will consider an internal as external…

    I bought the best internal one I could find at the time (6-7 years ago?) and installed it in a full size external enclosure. Nice because I can use it with different PCs but it’s still a tank.

    Still works flawlessly.
