    Fun stuff:

    • Celtics Starting Lineup: +24.6 NetRtg
    • Bucks Starting Lineup: -11.1 NetRtg
    • Nuggets Starting Lineup: +7.3 NetRtg

You might say “Sample size blah blah blah”

But all I hear is “BANNER 18 INCOMING!!!”

A promising first look for sure.

Both Boston and Milwaukee had close wins against middling teams.

However Boston won in spite of a horrid shooting performance and Milwaukee needed an unreal performance to get their win.

Obviously just G1 and can’t read too much into it though.

Interesting things to watch for tonight

Bam has averaged 21/11 his last 4 games against Porzingis. With Rob gone, we don’t really have a guy that can defend Bam. I’ll be interested how Porzingis does surrounded by Boston’s defenders compared to what he had in Dallas and Washington. Bam can also defend the perimeter and is quick on his feet and so I don’t know if Porzingis will have as much space as he had against Mitchell Robinson.

Really interested to see how much Jrue and White can bother Herro and limit his effectiveness.

As always, the rebounding will be something to watch. Butler, Bam and Martin can be physical, Love has always been a good rebounder. Need to play with the same intensity that we did with NY to stay in it.

I expect Brown to have a better game, or White to step up and play well. If Lowry or Herro are matched up on them, they’re going to cook. Mazzulla should really make an effort to get these matchups/switches and Porzingis drags Bam out of the paint. There should be a lot of White/Porzingis or Brown/Porzingis pick and roll actions. That should help with the rebounding as well.
