Last time Likely played without Andrews during week 1, he disappointed with 1 reception and 4 yards. This week after Andrews went down in the first quarter, he had 2 targets and no catches.

Yahoo writers seem to think he’s a must add waiver target, but I’m skeptical about that. Thoughts?

Personally I added freiermuth who was available in my league. He seems to fly under the radar but could come back this week, so maybe at least worth the pickup. Likely disappointed when Andrews was out in the beginning of the year

I think he has potential, but it’s gonna take him some time to warm up to the role and would probably give out an okay performance. Lamar Jackson already has plenty of reliable tools with Gus Edwards and Odell pulling their weight. But by the time that happens, you’ll probably be in fantasy playoff season already.

Maybe grab him and stash him for the time being, and if he shows promise after next week, than you can start him. In the meantime, there should still be a handful of serviceable tight ends available that’ll get you a few points here and there. But if we’re being honest, any tight end that’s producing meaningful points has already been long gone. Dalton Kincaid really being the last of the best waiver wire tight ends.
