It sounds like we need some sort of distributed system of proving ownership of digital goods like a digital ledger that cannot be reproduced to prove authenticity.
If only something like that existed today this is a real world problem it could help with.
We could call them non fungible tokens or something silly like that, probably needs a better name though, I will think on it.

This isn’t about ownership, but about authenticity.
The solution would be closer to certificate authorities used in https than any blockchain crap.
