ONLY if he can be effective for 10-15 snaps a game. There’s absolutely no way he’s an every down defender again. Those days are long gone.
BUT, if he can convince DeMeco that he’s willing (and able) to play within the system, and he is physically 75% of what he used to be, then he’s absolutely worth it.
Look what Case Keenum is doing with CJ as a player-coach. Imagine having that for Will Anderson during a playoff run.
Love him around the facility in a coaching capacity, we don’t need him as a player. He’s got Koa to think about now and doesn’t need more injuries.
He should not come back as a player for so many reasons. Keep enjoying that retirement JJ
