I never liked the idea of having him on the team, felt he was a little overrated. I wouldn’t mind trading him, but I definitely don’t want to give up any of our younger, talented pieces. We need something resembling a team after LeBron is out the door.

Trade??? The Lakers won a title in 2020 with Bron and AD at the helm. Last year, they got to the WCF.
Very few players in the league-- if any-- are as good as AD is on both ends of the floor.
His only issues:
– injury-prone
– sometimes doesn’t score a lot, but still has a tremendous defensive presence
– sometimes has a bad game (maybe 1/5 games or 1/10 games) just like every other human being in the league
He’s not the problem.
I’d trade the whole team before moving AD.
What I find disturbing is not featuring him on offense playing a PG like Dlo that need coverage from Davis every single possession and don’t feed him regularly on offense.
This is a FO major fault IMHO.
