I’m not at all surprised that they move fast and don’t sit there, but I’m curious as to how frequently people have seen them come back in stock. It sounds like there is no set cadence for when Valve releases stock.

I’d like to pick up a refurbished 64GB model, but I’m afraid that I’ll be sitting here for weeks waiting for one…

Used ones are popping up now in my area on Facebook Marketplace for good prices, but I’m a bit nervous about buying used out of warranty. Should I not be nervous and just pull the trigger on a used one? For example, there’s someone selling a 512GB model with a 1TB SD card, charger, carrying case, protective hardshell case, and a non-Valve dock all for $350. I just wouldn’t know what to check/ask besides why are they selling it and asking if they’re the original owner and have the receipt.

    Should be region dependent. Last time I saw them in stock in Canada was when they announced the OLED decks, took about 2 days or so for the refurb units to be sold out.

    I think they wait until they have a certain amount then put it on the site. It’s not one of those things if a few come in they update it.
