Everything that was hyped about this team has been nothing but true so far. I can not stress enough on how badly this team needs to win it all this year. This was said at multiple times last year, it was said a lot at the end of the 2022 season, but this genuinely looks like the best team since 08.

On other notes, Minnesota looks like a true contender this year. The Gobert/Kat tandem has worked a lot better this year. They have great defenders all throughout the roster. And they have Anthony Edwards. Would not be shocked if a WCF appearance was in the cards.

Happy for OKC and Houston so far. They’ve been in the mud the last few years and their young guys are starting to shine. The veterans and especially Udoka have made a huge impact in Houston. Not contenders just yet, but such a tough out.

Lakers and Warriors looking very mid. They’ve dealt with their fair share of injuries but I’m curious to see how they trend rest of the year knowing they probably don’t have a real contending roster around their stars.
