The biggest problem with the Magic the past two years was the discrepancy between the starters and the bench. Last year the starting unit was among the best in the league with the bench being one of the worst and this year its flipped. While Markelle and WCJ are out currently the Magic need to slot Gary Harris back into the starting lineup. His spacing is too valuable for Franz and Paolo. So who goes to the bench, Jalen or AB? I would go with AB as of now and keep Jalen out there with the starters. This presumed 5 has not played a minute together this year (thanks injuries!) but the closest we have is 16 possessions (7 minutes) of Suggs, Harris, Franz, Paolo, and WCJ. The point differential is +18.8 with a 106.3 ORTG and 87.5 DRTG. Obviously no WCJ right now so that would be Goga instead but he has filled in nicely in his time. Not saying this will make us a top 5 team but it would not hurt to try and give the two best players some space to work with.
