The media hated him for not playing Robin to Durant’s Batman, but that had died down a bit in recent years. Then all that vampire talk and other shit started to get really ugly in the media, and nothing from LeBron to quiet it down at all. LeBron used Westbrook to stat pad and get his numbers, to play while he and AD were hurt, then dumped him. Never any words of support really from what the media was saying about him. Probably because it came from him.

He’s probably one of the most modest and genuine player in the NBA. Like so many big stars of his caliber would straight up refuse or be insulted. That’s such a huge sacrifice in a sense. So so soo much respect for Brodie.🥺❤️

I love Russ I just wish he’d stop bricking wide open layups cause he’s driving too hard to the basket but that’s also zubac’s fault cause he can’t catch a pass on the pick and roll. That and random jumpers for no reason . Other than that I love the hustle and energy I hope he thrives with the bench mob
