Yes they beat us. We beat them the game before. If you look at the last few seasons we’re actually nearly even against them. They’re a very good team, and so are we - we’re going to be trading games with them all the time. If we consistently won every single game against them then we’d be the obviously better team, which we’re not.

It’s normal to lose basketball games. They’re consistently one of the favorites to make the finals nowadays - we’re not going to crush them every time we see them. Losing to them in the playoffs has colored a lot of your vision when it comes to performance against them.

TLDR: We’re perfectly capable of beating the C’s on any given night, and they’re capable of beating us. We’re going to continue to trade games with them. Stop freaking out.

I’m not freaking because I know our team is not nearly a finished product. The Celtics essentially are and can only make fringe moves.

< We’re perfectly capable of beating the C’s on any given night>

Defeating an opponent “on any given night” in the regular season has little bearing on the results of a seven-game playoff series.

Few on the sub appear to be “freaking out.” They just recognize that the current construction of the Sixers isn’t likely to carry them past the Cetltics postseason. Daryl has work yet to do.
