Got a friend who’s selling his for £200, obviously the old model with an inferior battery life and smaller screen, and I’m tempted - but the OLED model does look good, despite it being another £300.

Some context - I mainly game on PS5, and own a switch OLED. I’d only be playing a steam deck either to play games that are unavailable on those platforms (so Half Life etc) or for emulation purposes - but all in all it would be a secondary device. I also don’t leave the house with my switch, so the deck would also be used indoors only.

For you guys who own the deck - which would be a more justified purchase? Would I regret not buying the OLED or would I be essentially paying too much money for a pricier device that wouldn’t get used as much? Is £300 extra worth a better battery and screen?
