During the past weeks I’ve read many people complaining about the way Worlds playoff is structured, with 3 B05 in the span of 2 Weeks. But the amount of content the community generates in this week off, the off line events happening in Seoul only adds to create something unique that we all appreciate about Worlds, It’s bigger than anything else in Esports.
Let them change venues, cities, and play 3 b05 in 2 weeks, we have the best show, quality teasers, and lots of fan services that only makes lolesports grow, It’s worth it.
I want double elim which would change all this. So would a 3rd/4th playoff.
As for this format. 4 days is too short, 7 days is too long (between semi and final). But I understand the desire to have the games on weekends, as well as more prep time, so I’m chill about it all.
More official content would be nice. At the very least they should do a team fight breakdown for each semi final winner.
