What I mean is a player who postups a lot, or gets his points from pick and rolls and putbacks. Doesn’t really shoot threes, and if he does they’re minimal. Back is to the basket a lot. Focuses a lot on defense and rebounding. Basically what you would think of a 90s big man

Ayton and Nurk coincidentally. You’re thought about 90s pick n rolls didnt exist that way though

RoLo’s 37 spins in each postup would fit nicely in the 90s.

Difficult to say. The traditional bigs (not counting Embiid and Jokic) we have today don’t have post moves or offensive skills that could match with the bigs of the 90s. Guys like Capela and Drummond would easily get 15 rebounds a night but would struggle to score. Ayton has skills and talent but is too soft.

Jahlil Okafor would have probably been a 20-10 guy in the 90s but was born a bit too late and was unable to adjust to the current era.

Doesn’t post up but Mitch Robinson could be a 90s big. Stone hands. Great at rebounding and putbacks. Good rim protector. Runs and moves awkwardly. Terrible at free throws.
